Base wine turning into something dandy
Brandy is an alcoholic beverage that is made up of elements from both the wine and the spirit world. We can supply brandy in 1000 litre IBCs, 25,000 litre ISO tanks and 200-250 litre HDPE drums.
What is Brandy and How is Brandy made?
The wine which brandy is distilled from is not regular table wine. Instead, brandy is distilled from base wine. Base wine is untreated and freshly fermented, rather acidic with impurities, sediments, and yeast residue. After distillation, these traces lead to a rich and full-bodied spirit: a brandy is born. Thus, the best brandy combines both wine and spirit tastes as it is a spirit made from wine. Brandy is aged in casks and drunken at 36-40% of alcohol.
Brandy as an underestimated spirit
Brandy is not necessarily the most famous of spirits because it does not have many globally recognized brands. This leads to the misconception that the brandy alcohol market is not particularly large. However, brandy alcohol is actually the third biggest spirit category by consumption in the world.
