What is our wholesale ethanol used for?

Ethanol is an important industrial chemical with many end uses and applications. It is used within the drinks business to make alcoholic beverages. Within the fuel industry as an additive in the production of gasoline, allowing for cleaner emissions. Additionally, ethanol kills microorganisms and is used for (hand) sanitizers and antiseptics for sanitizing purposes. Within the pharmaceutical and medical industries it is used as a solvent in laboratory use for sterilization and decontamination, medical device manufacturing, making tinctures and also used to dissolve water-insoluble medication.
