Malted rice alcohol

Malt is partially germinated cereal grains that have been dried in a process known as “malting”. Our malted rice alcohol is made by germinating rice, by soaking in water and then halting the process by drying with hot air. This process breaks down complex sugars in malt, preparing it for fermentation. Malted rice alcohol has been stripped of its malt qualities giving it a neutral taste and makes it a good base for hard seltzers or other Ready-to-Drink beverages. Sasma’s malted rice alcohol comes at 14.8% proof.
