Denaturation & Excise Duty Reduction

Depending on local excise regulations, cosmetic and fragrance producers can reduce excise duties by using denatured alcohol. Sasma can supply alcohol denatured with approved denaturants including Bitrex, DEP, and MEK — rendering it unfit for human consumption while retaining its neutral odour and functional properties. The denatured alcohol receives a different product code under relevant regulations.
