Italian Gin

Italy has a long history of distilling and it has been said that the world’s first record of gin dates back over 1,000 years ago. It has also been said that the word gin comes from the Italian word “ginepro” or juniper. Italian gin is made with botanicals typically found in Italy such as Italian juniper and lemons from Amalfi. With its long history of gin distilling and botanicals, Italy is well known for its successful gins.
