Japanese Gin

Japanese Gin has gained tremendous popularity in recent years, it is made with local Japanese botanicals and produce that are unique to Japan. Local citrus fruits like yuzu, sansho pepper, green tea or cherry blossoms are used in combination with the more traditional botanicals such as juniper and cinnamon. What sets Japanese Gin apart is its flavor compared to Western gins. Described as floral and delicate, malty and smooth, or vibrant and citrus-forward, juniper typically takes a back seat.
